13-19/20  To agree as a true record the minutes of the meeting held on 20thMay 2019

 

The minutes of the meeting held on 20thMay 2019 were agreed as a true record and signed by the Chairman.

 

14-19/20 To review the Committee’s Terms of Reference and agree any recommendations for changes to full Council.

 

The Committee’s Terms of Reference were reviewed and there were no recommendations for changes to full Council.

 

15-19/20 Gazebos

 

  1. To agree the purchase of a 3m x 3m gazebo to be used by the Council at events at a cost of £119.99

16-19/20  To agree to recommend to full Council that the “Lest We Forget” bench should be installed at the Myland War Memorial.

 

It was agreed unanimously to recommend to full Council that the “Lest We Forget” bench should be installed at the Myland War Memorial.

 

17-19/20  To agree to run a competition for the Council’s noticeboards.

 

This motion was defeated.

 

It was noted that the Council’s noticeboards should be uniform and well-presented, and the Chairman asked the Clerk to circulate a copy of the Noticeboard Policy to all noticeboard holders.

 

18-19/20  To agree to use the Council’s office premises as a recycling point.

 

This Item was defeated.

 

19-19/20  To agree to support Essex Association of Local Council’s Mental Health First Aider training up to the value of £80 for Hall hire and refreshments.

20-19/20  To agree the date and time of the next meeting – Monday 15thJuly 2019, 7.30pm, at 101 Nayland Road, Colchester CO4 5EN.
