RP56/18 Declarations of Interest
There were no Declarations of Interest.
RP57/18 Minutes of the meeting held on 15th October 2018 to be approved as a true record and signed by the Chairman
It was resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 15th October 2018 as a true record and they were signed by the Chairman.
RP58/18 Public Participation
There were no comments.
RP59/18 To agree a draft budget for 2019/20 for recommendation to full Council.
The draft budget was discussed line by line. It was agreed that the Clerk and Cllr Jay would consolidate the figures following the meeting and circulate to all members of the committee (attached as Appendix A to these minutes). It was also agreed that the precept could be held at the 2018/19 level by using reserves. The reserves held for the proposed Community Centres should be held at £73,000.
The following points were noted:
- Cllr Hewitt said he would clarify the position regarding the £12,905 held for the Neighbourhood Plan with CBC.
- £20,000 allocated to Green Your Parish included scoping, initial set-up costs, and maintenance costs for the 2019/20 year.
- The website has been paid for from the 2018/19 budget and minimal costs are envisaged for the future.
- The budget for community events should be increased to £10,000 and allocated to the Community Engagement Committee, giving scope for larger events to be held.
- Ongoing costs for the Village Green should be considered.
It was agreed that the draft budget would be recommended to full Council at the meeting to be held on Wednesday 28th November 2018.

RP60/18 To note the current reserves position.
The current reserves position was noted.
RP61/18 To consider and possibly agree a draft precept demand for 2019/20 for recommendation to full Council.
It was agreed to recommend to full Council that the precept should be held at the 2018/19 level.

RP62/18 To agree to pay the annual subscription for MakeLunch at a cost of £240.
It was agreed to pay the annual subscription for MakeLunch at a cost of £240.00.

RP63/18 To agree a grant of £100 to Neighbourhood Watch for the purchase of 20 Neighbourhood Watch signs.
A grant of £100 to Neighbourhood Watch for the purchase of 20 Neighbourhood Watch signs was agreed, subject to receipt of all necessary information.
