Minutes of the Myland Community Council Planning & Development Policy Committee Meeting held on Wednesday 2nd March 2016, 7.15 pm @ 101 Nayland Road, Mile End Road, Colchester, CO4 5EN

233-15/16     Update of progress of resolutions made at the last meeting

Cllr Stewart said that he had submitted the response to CBC’s Air Quality Consultation online.

234-15/16     Monitoring

Cllr Gray said she had visited a few smaller sites where building had proceeded according to the relevant applications. She said she would be visiting the Bluegates development in Nayland Road and the Mersea Homes development off Fords Lane but she had no firm dates for these visits at the moment.

235-15/16     To consider and possibly resolve to respond to the Government’s Implementation of planning changes: technical consultation

It was resolved to respond to the Government’s Implementation of planning changes: technical consultation

238-15/16     Planning, Licensing & Highways Applications/Appeals – To make recommendations, including requests for Section 106 money where applicable, on applications received (Appendix 1)

152874 – 1 Worsdell Way, Colchester, CO4 5WQ – Ground floor rear extension – Comment

MCC would expect to see a useable maintenance gap to the side of the proposed extension. This appears to be over-development for the size of the garden and we would consider the extension to be overbearing on one of the neighbouring properties (no.15, Peto Avenue).
